LeBauer Endoscopy Center

Endoscopy is a valuable diagnostic tool used to evaluate or find the cause of gastrointestinal problems. At the LeBauer Endoscopy Center, we offer patients a convenient, state-of-the-art facility where gastroenterologists perform diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures, such as endoscopy and colonoscopy. This procedure is useful in diagnosing:

  • Difficult or painful swallowing
  • Pain in the stomach or abdomen
  • Bleeding
  • Ulcers
  • Tumors
  • Problems with the gallbladder, pancreas and bile ducts

Colon Cancer Screening

Colonoscopy screening remains an effective method of detecting early colon cancer, as well as preventing it entirely. In fact, if caught early, colon cancer is 90% curable.

To make it easier for patients to get the care they need, we offer open access screenings, which allow healthy patients without significant symptoms to schedule their procedures without a preliminary office visit to see a gastroenterologist.

If you would like to see if you are a candidate for an open access colonoscopy, or if you have any questions, please call us at (336) 547-1718.

What Does AAAHC Accreditation Mean?

Accreditation by the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care (AAAHC/Accreditation Association) means LeBauer Endoscopy Center has met nationally recognized standards for the provision of quality health care, set by the Accreditation Association. More than 4,500 ambulatory health care organizations across the United States are accredited by AAAHC.

Ambulatory health care organizations seeking accreditation by the AAAHC must undergo an extensive self-assessment and on-site survey by the Accreditation Association’s expert surveyors – volunteer physicians, nurses and administrators who are actively involved in ambulatory health care. The survey is consultative and educational, presenting best practices to help an organization improve its care and services.
