Advanced Bronchoscopy
At LeBauer Pulmonary, we offer diagnostic and therapeutic bronchoscopy for benign and malignant disorders of the airway.
Bronchoscopy is a way to examine your air passages with a small camera attached to a flexible tube. By sending the tube and camera through your airway, we are able to look at your air passages to help identify problems and inform treatment recommendations
We offer:
- Endobronchial ultrasound for accurate staging of thoracic malignancies
- Navigational bronchoscopy
- Our team currently leads the state in robotic-assisted navigational bronchoscopy cases
- This is a minimally invasive procedure that can biopsy small peripheral lung nodules that are otherwise hard to reach
- This procedure has complication rates of <1%, making it a safe and effective way of diagnosing early-stage lung cancers or any thoracic malignancy
