LeBauer Pulmonology was one of the first pulmonary medicine practice in the state of North Carolina to offer its patients 24-hour per day, 7-day per week physician monitoring of the Intensive Care Unit via the VISICU Medical System. This state-of-the-art technology provides the monitoring physician with complete medical information on all patients in the ICU in real-time, ensuring early detection of emerging conditions, extremely rapid response, more accurate treatment and a reduced length of hospital stay.

FAQ

What should I bring to my first appointment?

To prepare for your appointment, please bring the following items with you:

  • All medicines you are taking, including dosage. This includes vitamins, herbal therapies and all over-the-counter medicines. Please bring the actual bottles if possible.
  • If you have records to transfer to us, please contact our medical records office at (336) 840-2620. They will provide a Release of Information form for you to sign.
  • Current insurance cards must be presented. You will be responsible for your co-payment at the time of your visit. If you are not insured, please call the office to discuss your expected payment.

Please arrive 15 minutes prior to your appointment time so we can have time to process your insurance and paperwork.

What if I need to cancel my appointment?

If you are unable to make your scheduled appointment, please call us by 5 p.m. the day before your appointment to avoid a $50 fee.

What payment types and insurance do you accept?

We accept MasterCard, Visa and most bank debit cards, and we accept many insurance types (including Medicaid). Payment and all insurance co-pays will be required prior to your scheduled appointment. Please contact your insurance provider to verify that our services are covered. Feel free to ask our staff any questions you may have regarding payment issues.

How do I sign up for MyChart?

To set up a MyChart account, please call your LeBauer Pulmonary office location and we will send a link to your phone or email which will allow you to activate your account.

You can then use MyChart to make appointments, get updates and reminders from our team, ask us questions, pay your bill and more.

How can I schedule a virtual visit?

To schedule a virtual visit, please call your LeBauer Pulmonary office location to request one, or you can request a virtual visit via MyChart.

How do I prepare for a virtual visit?
