At LeBauer Endocrinology, we help you get to the bottom of your hormone issues. Whether you have an existing diagnosis or are experiencing symptoms that are affecting your health and well-being, we are here to get you the ongoing support you need – and deserve – from an endocrinology provider.

Most disorders of the endocrine system – such as diabetes, hypothyroidism and metabolic syndrome – are chronic diseases that require long-term, or even lifelong, care. Because of this, LeBauer endocrinology staff members are attuned to the whole health of their patients and work hard to understand the personal and social issues that affect the body’s balances and functions. We care for the person as well as the disease because we believe the doctor/patient relationship can be a critical part of the therapeutic process.

What We Treat

The endocrinology team diagnoses and treats hormone imbalances and problems and helps restore the normal balance of hormones in your system.

They manage many conditions, including:

  • Diabetes
  • Thyroid diseases
  • Osteoporosis
  • Over or underproduction of hormones
  • Hypertension
  • Cholesterol (lipid) disorders
  • Growth disorders
  • Cancers of the endocrine glands

FAQ

What is an endocrinologist

An endocrinologist is a specialist who has thoroughly studied hormonal conditions and knows the best possible treatments, even when conventional treatments do not work well. Unlike a family doctor or general practitioner, an endocrinologist studies hormones and hormonal diseases in depth, enabling them to provide the best possible treatment in this area.

What conditions does an endocrinologist treat?

An endocrinologist treats diseases related to the glands that make up the endocrine system, including the thyroid, parathyroid, pancreas, ovaries, testes, adrenal, pituitary and hypothalamus.
