If you, your child, or a loved one you care for has suffered a sports-related head injury or potential concussion, we know how important it is to have access to the best advice and treatment.
The LeBauer Sports Medicine Concussion Clinic is the only comprehensive, holistic concussion clinic in the Greensboro, NC area. What to Expect: Evaluations at the Concussion Clinic
All patients at the Concussion Clinic are given an extensive evaluation that includes:
- A test that measures the systems that integrate movement, balance, and vision
- An in-depth review of a detailed symptoms checklist for signs of concussion
The evaluation process is critical for the treatment and recovery of a concussed patient, as no two concussions are alike. Thankfully, the diagnostic tools that trained professionals use can help to better manage head injuries.
Patients are given a Vestibular Ocular Motor Screening test. This is a simple and painless test that focuses on the systems that integrate a patient’s movement, balance, and vision.
These tests are used in conjunction with a thorough review of a detailed symptoms checklist to complete the patient’s evaluation and develop a treatment plan.

Our clinical evaluations are administered by professionals with a wealth of expertise in caring for concussed patients.
The majority of patients recover quickly from concussions. If symptoms persist, however, the Concussion Clinic team may recommend further evaluations or treatment from physical therapists or neurologists.
Care Whenever You or Your Child Needs It
The LeBauer Sports Medicine Concussion Clinic is the only comprehensive, holistic concussion management clinic in the Greensboro or High Point areas. Anyone over the age of 5 with a sports-related concussion is welcome as a patient.
