Beginning in the 1st quarter of 2007, LeBauer Pulmonology will be the first and only pulmonary medicine practice in the state of North Carolina to offer its patients 24 hour per day, 7 day per week physician monitoring of the Intensive Care Unit via the Visicu medical tracking system. This state-of-the-art technology provides the monitoring physician with complete medical information on all patients in the ICU in real time, ensuring early detection of emerging conditions, extremely rapid response, more accurate treatment, and a reduced length of hospital stay.
